ETDRS Equipment

This is a complete ETDRS (Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study) visual acuity testing setup designed for precise eye examinations. The set includes:

ETDRS Illuminator Cabinet (63 × 65.5 cm): A lighted cabinet that evenly illuminates ETDRS eye charts for standardized testing of visual acuity. The consistent lighting ensures accurate and reproducible results across patients.

5-Leg Caster Base: A sturdy, mobile base with five casters that allows the cabinet to be easily moved and positioned in a clinical setting. This provides stability while also offering flexibility for placement.

Set of 3 ETDRS Charts (SLOAN Letters, Chart 1, 2, and R): Standardized charts used to measure visual acuity. The charts feature SLOAN letters in a carefully designed logarithmic progression, allowing precise measurement of a patient’s vision. Chart R is typically used for repeatability or training.
