Hettich® EBA 200 Centrifuge
The Hettich® EBA 200 is a compact, high-performance centrifuge designed for small laboratories and clinical settings. It features an integrated 8-place fixed-angle rotor that accommodates standard blood and urine tubes up to 15 mL. With a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm (3,461 × g), it efficiently handles low-throughput applications. The unit operates quietly at ≤50 dB(A) and includes user-friendly features such as a one-hand lid lock, impulse key for short cycles, imbalance monitoring, and visual/audible end-of-run indicators. Certified as a medical device under EU regulation (EU) 2017/745, it is suitable for separating whole blood or blood components of human origin. The EBA 200 is ideal for physician office laboratories, small labs, and off-site draw locations.
