B. Braun® Infusomat® Space
The B. Braun® Infusomat® Space is a compact, high-precision volumetric infusion pump designed for use in various clinical settings, including ICUs, ORs, NICUs, and emergency departments. Weighing just 3 pounds, it features a modular design that supports both standalone and networked configurations, facilitating integration into hospital IT systems. The pump offers a wide delivery rate range from 0.01 to 1,800 mL/h, with an accuracy of ±3% when used with B. Braun’s dedicated administration sets. It includes advanced features such as bolus delivery, dose calculation, volume/time pre-selection, and customizable settings for Keep Vein Open (KVO) rates. The Infusomat® Space is compatible with a variety of Infusomat® Space Lines, including those for blood transfusion, cytostatics, epidural, and enteral nutrition, ensuring comprehensive therapy coverage. Its intuitive interface is the result of extensive usability testing, aiming to minimize programming errors and enhance user experience. Additionally, the pump supports remote software updates and can be integrated into the Space® Station for centralized device management.
